Hand Collected Seashells
Our signature line is made from hand collected seashells gathered from local coastlines. these shells are collected, cleaned, and shaped at our local office. We know the harmful effects of the shell trade, so we only use what we personally collect ourselves. This way we can personally guarantee that all shells were collected sustainably and ethically. We never use live mollusks, only using empty shells that have washed ashore. Most of these shells are broken fragments that would normally be buried under the sand.
Post-Consumer Pearls
Pearl farming can be harmful to the environment, where overexploitation can lead to declined oyster populations. To ensure we aren’t contributing to any harmful marine life practices we only use pearls already in circulation. All of our pearls are repurposed from old, preowned, and antique jewelry, mainly multistrand pearl necklaces and bracelets. These are collected from local estate sales, antique stores, and flea markets.
Post-Consumer Beads
We know it’s important to not contribute to global consumerism and use as much recycled materials as possible. No detail is to small, even our delicate accent beads are sourced responsibly. In our attempts to be more eco-conscious we only use post-consumer beads. These beads are repurposed from prior owned jewelry found estate sales, antique shops, and flea markets.
Recycled Precious Metals
Mining for precious metals has negative human rights and environmental impacts. The use of recycled metals helps to combat these issues. We use as much recycled metal as possible in our designs with a goal of reaching 100% by 2025. We use high quality sterling silver and gold-filled metals which are made to last at a more affordable price.
Building trust through transparency
We are transparent with all of our business practices.
