FAQ

We understand how harmful the shell trade can be. That’s why we only use seashells that have washed up on the shore and we have personally collected. We never buy any shells found in our designs. We ensure the shells we collect are empty so as not to harm any living mollusks. Most of the shells we collect are broken pieces that would not be suitable to be reinhabited and would otherwise be buried under the sand. We also collect on a very small scale so as not to disrupt the natual environment. For more info check out our article on the harmful effects of the shell trade and how we are combatting it.

We do a standard wear/test run on each of our designs to ensure they will hold up to daily use, drops, active wear, etc. BUT accidents do happen. If your jewelry breaks for any reason please send us a message and we will be happy to replace it for you. Each piece is unique but we will do our best to match it as close as possible to your original. We only require you to pay for shipping the item back to us. 

All of our products are made by hand from supplies we personally collect. With this being said we may run out of stock on certain designs or colors if we do not have it in stock at the moment. Additionally some colors are rarer than 0thers, so there is a very limited supply. We try to restock regularly but this can vary, and we can only restock what we can personally find and collect. If there is an item you would like that is unavailable you can follow our social media and we will post when it comes back in stock. 

Each piece is made by hand upon order, unique to you. Processing times account for length of time to make the product as well as demand. We will complete your design within 7 business days (sooner if time allows) and ship it to you based on the shipping you selected. Please be patient with our process, some designs do take longer to create than others. If concerned that your item has not shipped yet, please wait until after the 7 business days to reach out.

We try our best to accommodate all sizes. We carry varying sizes for each of our bracelets and necklaces. If you would like a size that is not listed (larger or smaller) please select our custom size and then add a note when you checkout of the size needed. We have instructions on our product pages if you need help measuring. Please note, custom sizing will incur a small fee.

While you can swim in your jewelry, it isn’t recommended. It will hold up underwater but this can degrade the material, especially if swimming in saltwater. To ensure your jewelry still looks like new years to come follow the recommendations we have listed in our JEWELRY CARE page.
